The cries, the needs and the desperate struggle for survival of the effected people and the innocent expressions of the children who had lost their parents, motivated us to join hands with our parent Lions club and organize another relief campaign in Galle town which was completely destroyed.

We collected dry rations and all other necessary food items, medicine & cloths worth Rs 200,000.00 which includes,

Rice

Dhal

Milk pkts

 Sugar

 Cloths

 Medicine & other necessities

12 Leos were committed in collecting and packing these items sleepless & restless. The project which we started at 9.00 am on the 29th of December ended at 4.00 am on the next day. Number of beneficiaries exceeded 300. The medicine was donated to the Karapitiya National hospital in Galle.
