Leo Trip :: It Happened Again.....

Started as an annual project in year 2003 this year also we decided to organize a trip, having the motive of developing inter member relationship& to have some time full of enthusiasm. An early decision was taken to hold our monthly meeting at the same venue. Considering all the facts Wadduwa Holiday Resort was chosen as the perfect place. All to gather 20 members participated in this trip.

As soon as we arrived at the Hotel we conducted our monthly meeting .Our Regional director Sadeepa Palliyaguru was the Chief Guest of this meeting. All the directors extended their views as well as their plans in their sections which they hope to implement. Leo forum was very successful as many ideas about projects, as well as our weak points were disused.

Next an exciting game of cricket was played. Each team was given 8 overs . More than 100 runs were scored by both teams. It’s Very important to mention that Leo Nirmani played an outstanding knock for her team.

After having some refreshments and bit of a rest we moved on to the game of rugger.Here the endurance of the Leos were tested and later it turned out to be a lot of fun. Meanwhile the Girls were playing Badminton.

Next we had a fabulous time in the swimming pool. That healed all the pain we had after we played rugger.

After having the lunch we played a little game we were given a magic carpet and we had to fly it over an acid pool without falling.It was one of magic Damith’s ideas.

We had a little music session where Leo Sadeepa played the guitar and all of us sang together.

Finally our Advisor uncle Noel made a demonstration over how to collect & store polythene bags which can be recycled.
On the way home we crossed a river on a Palan Paruwa.It was a good experience to all of us.
